Norman James Duplechin passed away on Saturday, April 5, 2025 at the age of 81. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, April 8, 2025 at St Thomas More Catholic Church with Father Sam Fontana Celebrant. Cremation will follow with interment of his ashes at St. Thomas More Cemetery on Thursday, April 10, 2025 At the request of family, visitation will be held at Quirk & Son on Tuesday from 8:30 AM until time of departure for services. Norman is survived by his loving wife, Carol Labbie Duplechin; his son, Wendell Duplechin (Rebekah); two daughters, Michelle Rider (Greg), Lisa Boudreaux (Nathan); six grandchildren, Kaitlin, Evan, Colby, Megan, Hannah, Josh; five great-grandchildren, Caleb, Cooper, Stormi, Oliver and Benjamin. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dutile and Lilda Rider Duplechin and his sister, Lula Mae Christ.
