Nina Mae Boone Miller passed away on Monday, February 24, 2025 at the age of 91. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, February 25, 2025 at St. Edward Catholic Church with Father Korey Lavergne Celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Edward Cemetery. At the request of family, visitation will be held the same day at Quirk & Son from 10:00 AM until time of departure for Services. Her brother, Kelly, and his wife, Stephanie, will pray a rosary at 11:30 AM. Nina is survived by her daughter, Donna Miller; two brothers, Joseph "Kelly" Boone (Stephanie), Joseph "Gilton" Boone; sister, Charlene Richard (Dan); sisters-in-law, Etheline LeDoux Boone, Barbara Bellard Boone; three grandchildren, Brian J. Miller, Sr., Bobby Joe Romero, Bridget Cruz and eleven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Nelson Miller; her daughter, Mary Marjean Suraz; her parents, Esteve and Elise Daigle Boone; two brothers, Joseph Shelton Boone, Charles Boone; her sister, Theresa Boone; her sister-in-law, Patricia Savoy Boone.
