Nicholas Joseph Cormier passed away on Saturday September 21, 2013 at the age of 34. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday September 28, 2013 at 1 p.m. at Quirk & Son Funeral Home in Eunice. Deacon David Guillory will officiate. Burial will follow at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Chataignier. Nicholas is survived by his brothers, James Lavergne of Seoul, Korea, John Lavergne of Pine Prairie, Keith Cormier of Walker, Brandon Cormier of Eunice and Michael Cormier of Houma; sisters, Kimberly Curry of Corpus Christi, TX and Penny Stelly of Church Point.

Nick was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Raphael Cormier and Dolores Guillory Cormier; a brother Timothy Veillon. At the request of the family, visitation will be held on Friday September 27, 2013 at 12 p.m. to 10 p.m. A Rosary will be prayed by Deacon David Guillory at 7 PM. The funeral home will reopen at 8 a.m. on Saturday for visitation until time of services. Quirk & Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
