A funeral service will be held for Myrtle"Duches" Murphy Chaddick, 87, on Monday, November 22, 2010, at 1:30 PM at the Acadiana Christian Fellowship Church at 511 Clegg Street in Rayne with burial to follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Crowley. Myrtle passed away at Regional Medical Center in Lafayette. Visitaton will begin on Monday at the church in Rayne at 10 AM until service time. Myrtle is survived by her children, Johnny Chaddick & wife Jackie, Marvis C. Harmon & husband Bentley and Rev. Charland C. Jordon; a sister, Anna Mae Plaisance; 10 grandchildren; 21 great grand children and 7 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Roger Chaddick;a son Lloyd Lee Chaddick, parents, Cammy Murphy and Francis Starks Murphy; two brothers, Winfred Murphy and Warren " Jim" Murphy.
