Myrtice Helen Courville Menard, age 72, of Eunice, LA, died Wednesday, August 24, 2011, at her residence in Eunice, LA.

She is survived by her husband; Lloyd Menard, Sr. of Eunice, LA.

Two Daughters: Peggy Jo M. Thibodeaux & Perry, Eunice, LA. Vicki Lynn M. Elkins & David, Eunice, LA.

Three Sons: Jeffery P. Menard, Eunice, LA. Lloyd J. Menard, Jr. & Lisa of Eunice, LA. John W. Menard & Amber, Eunice, LA.

One Sister: Loretta Bordes & Pat, Rayne, LA.

One Brother: Joseph Herbert Courville & special friend Marie Richard, Beaumont, TX.

Ten Grand Children: Sally, Ben & Brad Thibodeaux; Ryan, Brandon & Cory Menard; Jennifer M. Piker, Stephanie & Steven Menard; & Adam Elkins. Ten Great-Grand Children

Preceded in death by her: Parents, Walter Courville & Estelle Cormier.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM, Friday, August 26, 2011 with a rosary @ 7:00 PM prayed by Deacon David Guillory at Quirk & Son Funeral Home in Eunice. The funeral home will reopen at 8:00 AM Saturday for a visitation until the service. A Mass of Christain Burial will be at St. Thomas More Catholic Church at 10:00 AM, Saturday, August 27, 2011. Fr. Cedric Sonnier will officiate. Burial to follow in St. Thomas More Cemetery, Eunice, LA. Quirk & Son Funeral Home, 121 S. 6th. Street of Eunice is in charge of arrangements.
