Morris Glenn Johnwell passed away on Wednesday July 10, 2013 at the age of 64. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday July 13, 2013 at 11 AM at St. Matilda Catholic Church in Eunice. Father Darren Eldridge will officiate. Burial will follow at St. Matilda Cemetery. Morris is survived by his wife, Mathilda J. Johnwell of Eunice; three daughters, Brenda Guilbeau and husband Mark of Carencro, Glenda Johnwell of Lafayette, and Nichole Johnwell of New York, NY; seven sisters, Jerry Richard of Eunice, Judy Bushnell and husband Carroll of Eunice, Wilma Dupre and husband Donald of Eunice, Wilda Chapman of Lake Charles, Lillie Williams and husband Sylvester of Iowa, Versie Williams and husband Larry of La Porte, TX, and Bernadine Walker and husband James of Houston, TX; and three brothers, Rayfield Johnwell and wife Lois of Lake Charles, James Darrel Johnwell of Crowley, and Terry Johnwell and wife Shirley of Lafayette. He is preceded in death by his parents, Alcuis and Versie Renee Johnwell; one sister, Shirley Brown; and one brother, J.C. Johnwell. At the request of the family, visitation will be held on Saturday July 13, 2013 from 8 AM to 10:45 AM at Quirk & Son Funeral Home. Quirk & Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
