Morris Doucet passed away on Thursday, January 10, 2019, at the age of 87. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, January 12, 2019, at 11:00 AM at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Eunice. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Fr. Mathew Hebert will officiate. At the request of the family visitation will begin on Friday, January 11, 2019 at 9:00 AM until 9:00 PM at Quirk and Son Funeral Home in Eunice and will reopen on Saturday at 8:00 AM until time of services. A rosary will be prayed on Friday at 7:00PM. Deacon Gary Gaudin will officiate. Morris is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, LouAnna Doucet, two sons; Billy J. Doucet and wife Missie, Ricky J. Doucet and wife Cheri, two daughters; Debbie Fontenot and husband Blaine, Pam Fontenot and husband Benjie, two brothers; Lubert Doucet and wife Diann, Dale Doucet and wife Linda, one sister, Irene Richard, one sister in law, Wanda Doucet, one brother in law, Curris Castille, fourteen grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren. Morris was preceded in death by his parents, Paul Doucet and Mary Hebert Doucet, one brother, Jimmie Doucet, two sisters Betty Castille, Sybil Smith. Quirk and Son Funeral Home in Eunice is in charge of the arrangements.
