With heavy hearts and cherished memories, we announce the passing of Monica Sue LeBlue West, whose vibrant spirit touched everyone she met. Monica was born on June 13, 1984, and departed this world on July 3, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of joy, laughter, and deep love.

Monica’s life was characterized by her effervescent personality and her uncanny ability to be the life of the party. She brought light into every room she entered, brightening even the dimmest days. Friends and family alike were drawn to Monica’s warmth and her infectious laughter, and she never missed a chance to infuse every gathering with joy and humor. Her energy was a gift that lifted others, leaving indelible memories in the hearts of those who knew her.

A creative soul, Monica delighted in drawing and coloring. She had an innate talent for art, transforming blank pages into lively scenes bursting with color and imagination. In recent years, Monica found joy in sharing her creativity with the world through trendy videos on TikTok. Through this platform, she connected with friends near and far, expanding her circle of laughter and love.

Monica is survived by a devoted family who now carry her spirit onward, including her beloved son, Nealon West, Sr. and his wife, Marissa, and grandson, Nealon West, Jr., remain steadfast reminders of her boundless affection as a mother and grandmother. She is remembered tenderly by her father, Donald D. LeBleu, and her mother, Kathleen Ann David, as well as her step-father, John Stelly. Her siblings—Sherman LeBlue (Kim Young), David LeBlue  (Josie), Brook LeBleu, and Sierra Robinson ( Rochelle)—mourn her passing but will forever celebrate the laughter, love, and companionship they shared as a family.

While her time with us was all too brief, Monica’s exuberance and compassion leave a lasting imprint on the hearts she leaves behind. Family members, friends, and all who had the joy of encountering Monica are united in grateful remembrance for her spirited approach to life and her capacity to offer warmth and acceptance to all.

A graveside service honoring Monica Sue LeBlue West’s remarkable life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on July 8, 2026, at Ashford Cemetery, 1207 Ashford Cemetery Road, Duralde, LA 70515. Reverend Herbert Moore will officiate. All are invited to gather in tribute, to remember her loving nature, and to celebrate the energy she shared so freely with the world.

Monica’s presence will be dearly missed. Though she is no longer physically with us, her laughter, her creativity, and her loving spirit endure—in the art she created, the happy memories she inspired, and the embrace of her beloved family.
