Monica Lynn Dietz Thompson passed away on Friday, September 5, 2025 at the age of 65. A Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, September 10, 2025 at Richie House of Prayer with Bishop Mike McConnaughey officiating and Pastor Joey Reed assisting. Burial will follow in St. Louis Cemetery. At the request of family, visitation will be held at Quirk & Son from 1:00 PM until 9:00 PM on Tuesday, September 9, 2025. On Wednesday, visitation will be at the church from 8:00 AM until time of Services. Monica is survived by her husband, Ken Thompson; her mother, Shirley Ann Cormier Dietz; two sons, Rory Thompson (Cayleigh), Jordan Thompson (Amanda); one daughter, Kelli Gaudin (Rusty); two brothers, Todd Dietz (Pam), Scot Dietz (Nicole); one sister, Sharri Parks (Pat); sister-in-law, Karen Dietz; eleven grandchildren, Rori Domingue, Cy Gaudin, Avery Gaudin, Violet Elizabeth Thompson, Eleanor Marie Thompson, Oren Ivy Thompson, Julia Thompson, Emmie Thompson, Isabella Thompson, Caleb Thompson and Shilo Thompson. She was preceded in death by her father, Melvin Bruce Dietz and one brother, Dwayne Dietz. The family wishes to extend special thanks to Southern Grace Hospice, especially Lara, Fairly, Oanh and Brian.
