Mona Freyou Francois passed away on Tuesday, September 22, 2015, at the at age of 68.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, September 25, 2015, at the First United Pentecostal Church in Eunice at 11:00 a.m. Pastor Ron LaCombe will officiate. Burial will follow at St. Louis Cemetery.

Mona is survived by her husband, Kenneth Francois of Mamou; one daughter, Jolayne F. Miller and husband Mitch of Porter, TX; two sons, Chad Francois and wife Helana of Basile and Marty Francois and wife Marleigh of Florissant, MO; three brothers, Daryl Freyou of Baton Rouge, Brent Freyou of Lake Charles, and Dwight Freyou of Lake Charles; ten grandchildren, Vincent Francois, Bryce Francois, Gharret Miller, Ada Francois, Austin Francois, Kyle Francois, Mariah-Joy Francois, Roman Francois, Matthew Francois, and Victoria Francois; and one great-grandchild, Zoiee Francois.

Mona was preceded in death by her parents, Eusebe Freyou and Eloise Trahan Freyou.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held on Thursday, September 24, 2015, from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. at Quirk & Son Funeral Home in Eunice. The funeral home will reopen at 8:00 a.m. on Friday for visitation until the time of service.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations please be made to the American Cancer Society.
