Eunice – Funeral services will be conducted for Milton J. Flash, 94, on Saturday, June 4, 2011 at 2:00 PM in the Quirk Funeral Home Chapel at 121 S. 6th St. in Eunice with Deacon Gary Gaudin officiating. Entombment will follow in St. Paul Mausoleum in Eunice.

Visitation will be held in New Iberia at David Funeral Home, 1101 Trotter St., in New Iberia on Friday, June 3, 2011 from 10:00 AM until 9:00 PM and resume on Saturday, June 4, 2011 at Quirk Funeral Home in Eunice beginning at 9:00 AM until services. A rosary will be prayed on Friday, June 3, 2011 at David Funeral Home in New Iberia at 6:00 PM.

A native of Caddo Parish, former resident of Eunice and a resident of New Iberia, Mr. Flash died on Tuesday, May 31, 2011 at 9:40 AM at his residence. He retired as Water Plant Forman from Cleco in Eunice after being employed there for 39 years. He was an avid fisherman, reader, gardener and amateur cattleman in his younger days. He was also an avid Saints Football Fan.

He is survived by his son, Gene Flash and his wife Dixie of New Iberia; his daughters, Linda Lowe and her husband Tom of Houston, TX and Shelia Johnston and her husband John of Columbus, OH.

He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Eunice Sensat Flash; his parents, Alfred Flash and Ola Beard Flash; his son, Terry Flash, his brother, Mervin Flash and his sister, Myrtle Flash Sensat.

Pallbearers will be Kevin Flash, Curtis Flash, Michael Flash, Chris Young, John Johnston and Harold Courtois, Jr..

Honorary pallbearers will be Michael Johnston, Cody Johnston, Roco Deckard, Jakob Deckard, Lynn Deckard, Katie Flash, Alec Armentor and John Johnston.
