Mildred Fusilier, age 87, of Eunice, LA, died Monday, May 16, 2011, at Oak Lane Nursing Home in Eunice, LA. She is survived by her:

One Daughter: Cindy Fruge & Dr. Bernard, Lafayette, LA

Three Sons: Sammy Fusilier & Kathy, Eunice, LA Harold Fusilier, Sulphur, LA Jim Fusilier & Ruth, Abbeville, LA

Two Sisters: Dolores Rachal, Eunice, LA Deanna Mae Fuselier, Eunice, LA

One Brother: Fred Dupre, Eunice, LA

11 Grand Children: Brian Fusilier, Tonya F. Burch, Brent Fusilier, Christa F. Mallet, Brady Fusilier, Sarah F. Palen, Laura Fusilier, David Fusilier, Catherine Fusilier, Tracy F. McClendon, & Bernard C. Fruge III. 11 Great-Grand Children Brett Fusilier, Michael Fusilier, Courtney Fusilier, Caleb Mallet, Ainsley Mallet, William Palen, Daniel Palen, Collin Palen, Miles D. McClendon, Bryant P. Fusilier, & Jay Michael Fusilier.

She is preceded in death by her: Parents: Frank Dupre & Celina Bertrand Husband: Oley Fusilier Brothers: Cleveland, Francis, Raleigh, & Edges Dupre; Sisters: Selma Roop & Margaret Fruge.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Thursday, May 19, 2011 with a rosary @ 6:00 PM prayed by Deacon Gary Gaudin at Quirk & Son Funeral Home in Eunice. The funeral home will reopen at 8:00 AM on Thursday for a visitation until the service. A Mass of Christian Burial officiated by Fr. Kendall Faulk will be at St. Anthony Catholic Church at 10:00 AM, Friday, May 20, 2011. Burial to follow in St. Paul Cemetery, Eunice, LA Quirk & Son Funeral Home, 121 S. 6th. Street of Eunice is in charge of arrangements.
