Mildred Gaspard Fontenot passed away on Friday, October 10, 2014.

Funeral Service will be at St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Eunice at 4 p.m. on Monday, October 13, 2014. Deacon David Guillory will officiate.

Mildred is survived by three sons, Robert "Bob" Fontenot and companion Susan of Eunice, Tarril Fontenot of Baton Rouge, Maril Fontenot of Eunice; one daughter, Sonjie F. McIver and husband Danny of Lafayette; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Mildred was preceded in death by her parents, Eluse Gaspard and Ora Douga Gaspard; her husband, Jerald Fontenot; one son, Jerry Dale Fontenot; and one brother, Andrew Gaspard.
