Michael "Shane" Fontenot passed away on Thursday, July 27, 2023 at the age of 69. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, January 6, 2024 at Quirk & Son Funeral Home Chapel, along with the services for his wife, Pamela Fontenot. At the request of family, visitation will be held the same day from 9:00 AM until noon. Shane is survived by his wife, Pamela Cuccio Fontenot; one son, Christopher "Shannon" Fontenot and wife Jenny; one daughter, Melanie Moore and husband Jimbo; two sisters, Shawn Vidrine and husband David, Sharon Granger and husband Barry; two grandchildren, Micah Lester and husband Charlie and Brodie Moore. He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph W. Fontenot; his mother, Evelyn Lucille McCoy and one brother, Joseph Shad Fontenot.
