Michael James Olivier passed away on Monday, December 25, 2017, at the age of 51.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, December 30, 2017, at 11:00 AM at Quirk & Son Funeral Home. Rev. Ted Ardoin will officiate. Burial will be held at St. Paul Cemetery in Eunice

He is survived by his father, Fred Olivier and wife Brenda of Eunice; one son, Alex Olivier and wife Emily of Kinder; one daughter, Brittney Olivier and fiancé Jeff of Mandeville; two step-brothers, Sammy Lavergne and wife Sally and Guy Lavergne and wife Leann; two sisters, Charlene Dupre and husband Paul of Opelousas and Cheryl Olivier; one step-sister, Mone' Brown; an uncle, Kenneth Aguillard; and one grandchild, Georgia Olivier.

Michael was preceded in death by his mother, Carol Aguillard Thompson.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held on Friday, December 29, 2017, from 3:00 PM to 10:00 PM at Quirk & Son Funeral Home. The funeral home will reopen on Saturday at 8:00 AM for visitation until time of service.
