Michael John "Mike" Fruge, age 60, of Lavonia, Ga. passed away Wednesday, October 25, 2023, at his home in Georgia. A visitation/celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, October 31, 2023 from 9:00 AM until 12:45 PM at Quirk & Son Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Guillory Cemetery next to his brother Bobby Fruge. Born December 27, 1962, in Eunice, LA, he was the son of the late Joseph C. and Vergie Veronie Fruge. Mike was retired and was of the Assembly of God faith. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother: Bobby Fruge. He is survived by his wife: Liliana Varon Fruge; children: Travis John Fruge and wife Heather; Michael Brooks Fruge and fiancé Jessica Miller; step-daughter, Stephanie Lucero; sister, Tamatha Fruge; 4 grandchildren, Paisley, Kameron, Kylum and Christian. A funeral service was also held at 6:00 p.m. Saturday, October 28, 2023 at Strickland Funeral Home, Livonia, Ga.
