Michael Gene Fontenot passed away on Wednesday, September 24, 2025 at the age of 54. A Graveside Service for interment of his ashes will be held at 3:30 PM on Thursday, October 9, 2025 at the New St. Ann Cemetery (Mamou) with Father Billie Massie officiating. Michael is survived by his daughter, Megan Fontenot; three brothers, Curt Fontenot (Dwayne), Terry Fontenot (Geannie), Damon Fontenot (Evette); two sisters, Brenda Babineaux, Kayla Castro (Mario); two grandchildren, Zayleigh Belton and Kass'Lynn Arnold. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lesbay Fontenot and Bernadine Granger Fontenot.
