Michael "BoBo" Balque, Sr. passed away on Sunday, October 15, 2023 at the age of 76. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, October 21, 2023 at Word Ministries with Bishop B.K. Stevens officiating. Burial will follow in Zion Travelers Baptist Cemetery. At the request of family, visitation will be held at Word Ministries Saturday from 9:00 AM until time of Services. "BoBo" is survived by his wife, Josephine Guillory Balque; two sons, Michael Balque, Jr. (Yvette), Evand Latoura Balque (Isabel); one daughter, Monica Mott (Troy); one brother, Matthew Balque; one sister, Edmonia Balque; sixteen grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Armond and Irene Larue Balque; three brothers, Bervick Balque, Tony Balque, Fermon Balque and one sister, Thelma Shorten.
