Merlin "Picant" Joseph Ardoin, age 81, of Eunice, La., died Monday, October 6, 2008, at Acadian Medical Center in Eunice, La. He Served in the Navy during WWII. He was also a retired School Bus Driver for St. Landry Parish School Board.

He is survived by his wife Gloria (Reviere) Ardoin of Eunice, La.

Two Daughters, Connie & Ron LeBlanc of Lafayette, La. Marlene & Ted Joubert of Eunice, La.

Two Sons, Kelton Ardoin of Eunice, La. Ronnie Ardoin of Eunice, La.

Two Brothers, Easton Ardoin of Lawton, Okla. Richard Ardoin of Eunice, La.

Preceded in death by: Parents, Emile & Esther Young Ardoin; Grandson, Jacque Ardoin; Brother, James Carol Ardoin. Visitation is from 3:00 PM to 10:00 PM Tuesday, October 7, 2008 with a rosary @ 7 pm. Reopen @ 8 am Wed. Funeral service will be at Funeral Home Chapel at 3:30 PM Wednesday, October 8, 2008. Burial to follow at St. Paul Cemetery in Eunice, La.
