A funeral service will be held for Melinda "Mindy" Boone, 63, on Tuesday, December 5, at 10:00 AM at Quirk & Son Funeral Home. Deacon David Guillory will officiate. Burial will be held at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Mindy passed away on Sunday, December 3, 2017.

She is survived by her two sons, Jonathan Andre Moss and Jacob Kane Moss; one brother, Thomas Duane Boone; five sisters, Debra Boone, Donna B. Veillon, Jackie Lynn Boone, Carolina Sue Boone and Melanie Faye Boone.

Mindy was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Nettie Guillory Boone; a daughter, Crystal Raegan Newman.

At the request of the family, visitation will begin on Monday, December 4, from 12:00 PM until time of service on Tuesday. A rosary will be prayed by Deacon David Guillory at 5:00 PM on Monday.
