Medeuse Reed passed away on Saturday, November 28, 2015, at the age of 86.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, November 30, 2015, at 10:00 a.m. at Quirk & Son Funeral Home in Eunice. Deacon David Guillory will officiate. Burial will follow at Reed Cemetery in Lanse Meg.

Medeuse is survived by his wife, Velma Deshotel Reed of Eunice; daughter, Tina R. Veillon and her husband Kenneth of Eunice; son, Farrell Reed of Eunice; two grandsons, Kenneth Shane Veillon and wife Bernadette of Eunice and Daniel Asher Veillon of Eunice; and sister-in-law Irene Reed.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Johnnie and Edia McCauley Reed; a brother, Elward Reed; and a sister, Clarina Veillon.

Medeuse was a retired custodian at Eunice Elementary.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held on Sunday, November 29, 2015, from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. at Quirk & Son Funeral Home in Eunice. A Rosary will be will be prayed at 6:00 p.m. by Deacon Guillory. The funeral home will reopen on Monday at 8:00 a.m. for visitation until the time of service.
