Mary Louise Bott Rougeau, a beloved mother, grandmother, and sister, passed away on March 1, 2026, in Ville Platte at the age of 64. Born on November 23, 1961, in Gueydan, La, Mary brought joy and warmth to all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Her life was marked by an unwavering love for her children and grandchildren. Mary cherished every moment spent with her family, creating lasting memories that will always be held dear. She leaves behind her son, Jonathan Rougeau, and her two daughters, Tiffany Rougeau Fontenot and her husband Bryan, and Nira Rougeau. The bond she shared with her five grandchildren—Steven Lasalle, Ethan Dyson, Shayla Lasalle, Jayse Leger, and Callie Perkins—was a source of immense pride and happiness for her. Additionally, she found great joy in being a great-grandmother to Ryatt Conner.

Mary is survived by her four brothers, Francis Bott and his wife Rosemary, Ronald Bott and his wife Gail, David Bott, and Paul Bott. She also is survived by her two sisters, Delores Bott and Patricia Meaux and her husband Glynn.

Preceding her in death were her husband, Marcus Rougeau, whose companionship she deeply cherished, as well as her parents, Frank Bott and Loretta Farrell Bott. Mary was also preceded in death by three brothers, Richard Bott, James Bott, and Timothy Bott.

Mary Louise Rougeau’s legacy lives on through her family, who will forever treasure her memory and the love she imparted.
