Mary Ann Fuselier Ortego passed away on Thursday, August 14, 2014, at the age of 71. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, August 16, 2014, at 12:00 p.m. at St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Eunice. Father Clinton Sensat will officiate. Burial will follow at Reed Cemetery in T-Mamou.

Mary Ann is survived by her husband, James R. Ortego; three sons, William "Bill" Ortego and wife Bridget of Iota, David Ortego and wife Victoria of Basile, and Christopher Ortego of Eunice; one sister, Bernadine Miller of Eunice; and three grandchildren, Trevor, Trenton, and Nathan.

Mary Ann was preceded in death by her parents, Cleon Fuselier and Celezia Veillon Fuselier and one sister, Hazel Fontenot.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held on Friday, August 15, 2014, from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. A Rosary will be prayed at 6 p.m. by Deacon Gary Gaudin. The funeral home will reopen at 8 a.m. on Saturday for visitation until time of service.
