A funeral service for Mary Jane Israel, 56, was held Wednesday, July 13, 2011, at 2 PM at Quirk & Son Funeral Home with burial at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Deacon Gary Gaudin officiated. Mary passed away on Monday, July 11, 2011. She is survived by her stepfather, Clarence Guillory; her mother, Mary Lou Fontenot Guillory; her husband, Douglas J. Israel, Sr. of Eunice; a son, Ray Fontenot of Eunice; a daughter, Shameka Renee' Fontenot of Eunice; a daughter-in-law, Karen Fontenot of Eunice; 2 brothers, Darrel Romero of St. Landry, LA & Junior Romero of Rayne; 6 stepchildren; 2 grandchildren, Issac Dwayne Fontenot & Chelsea Fontenot; 6 step grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, Ventury Manuel; a son, Mac Fontenot.
