A funeral service for Mary Cormier, 69, will be held at 2 PM at Quirk & Son Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 24, 2012, with burial to follow at Courville Cemetery. The visitation will be on Monday, January 23, 2012, from 10 AM to 10 PM. A rosary will be prayed by Deacon Gary on Monday, January 23, 2012, at 6 PM. Mary passed away on Sunday, January 22, 2012.

She is survived by her four sons, Dawin Bertrand & wife Sharon of Eunice, LA, Lloyd Bertrand of Eunice, Stevie Bertrand & wife Tina of Basile, LA, and James Bertrand of Eunice, LA; two sisters, Verna Bergeron of Eunice, LA and Barbara Brignac of Pine Prarie, LA; three grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel Whittaker and Modeste Thibodeaux; her husband, Audrey Cormier.
