Marie Merita McGee Guillory passed away on Monday, April 24, 2017, at the age of 87. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, April 26, 2017, at 10:00 AM. at St. Anthony Catholic Church with burial to follow at St. Paul Cemetery. Fr. Travis Abadie will officiate. Visitation will begin on Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM. A Rosary will be prayed on Tuesday at 6:00 pm by Fr. Henry Broussard. Merita is survived by three daughters; Patricia Dossman and her husband, David of Eunice; Susan Gaspard, Frances Guillory and her husband Chuck Christenson of Eunice , one daughter in law; Doris G. Guillory of Eunice, her devoted caregiver of 21 years; Roxanne Chapman of Eunice, seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Merita was preceded in death by her parents, Maxim H. McGee and Agnes Frederick McGee, her husband; Al Wilson Guillory, one son; Steven Guillory and one grandchild; Nick Karlin.
