Margaret Roop Minich, 81, passed away on Saturday, September 18. She is survived by her four sons, Robert Beverly and Thomas Beverly of Mesa, AZ, James Minich of Eunice and Dennis Minich of Daisey, AR; five daughters, Penny Comeaux, Tonya Davis and Nanine Stempien all of Eunice; Connie Walker and Winona Sherwin both of Mesa, AZ; three sisters, Beverly Wright of Sandusky, OH, Alice Stiene and Sherryl Smith both of Mansfield, OH; 24 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, Milton V. Roop and Vea J. Isabell; husband, Leslie Minich; brothers, Milton and Robert Roop; sister, Norma Hartley. A memorial service for Margaret will be held on Wednesday, September 22, 2010, at First Lutheran Church, 301 Farrel Rd Lafayette, LA 70508, at 1: 00 PM. Pastor Kenneth Burke will officiate. Interment will take place at Garden View Cemetery in Mesa, AZ.
