A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Margaret Richard Dies, age 60, on Tuesday, November 27, 2018, at 2:00 PM at St. Edward Catholic Church with burial to follow at St. Edward Cemetery. Fr. Wayne Duet will officiate. Visitation will be held on Monday, November 26, 2018 from 12:00 PM until 11:00 PM at Quirk and Son Funeral Home and will reopen on Tuesday at 8:00 AM until time of services at 2:00 PM. A rosary will be prayed on Monday evening at 7:00 PM by Lealin LeJeune. Margaret passed away at her home surrounded by her loving family. Memories of Margaret will be cherished by all who knew and loved her. She was a fun-loving person as well as the life of the party. Margaret had an infectious smile which touched everyone's heart. She will be sadly missed. Margaret was survived by her husband, Felton Dies; a son, Brian Dies; a daughter, Michelle Renee McGee and her husband Patrick; three sisters, Myrtis Darbonne and her husband, David; Frances Dies and her husband, Linus; Dianna LeJeune and her husband, Randall; also, her cousin, which she consider her sister, Sue Lopez; her four grandchildren, Tyler Dies, Isaiah McGee, Elizabeth Dies and Kayla Dies. Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, Ervin and Jermaine Jagneaux Richard. Margaret's pall bearers will be Ronald Dies, Ronnie Cormier, Brian Dies, Tyler Dies, Billy Cormier and Donnie Sittig, Sr. Honorary pall bearers will be Donnie Sitting, Jr. and Isaiah McGee.
