A Mass of Christian Burial for Mae Belle Reeves Ardoin, 85, will be held on Saturday, November 30, 2013, at 11 AM at St. Thomas More Catholic Church with burial to follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Father Mitch Guidry will officiate. Mae passed away on Wednesday, November 27, 2013.

She is survived by her daughter, Sandy Ardoin and husband Donnie of Eunice, LA; son, James Higginbothan & wife Gloria of Eunice, LA ; 8 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Alma Roberts Reeves; husband, Edlee Ardoin; son, Joseph Wayne Higginbothan; daughter, Elaine Matt; two brothers, Charlie and Joseph Reeves. Visitation will begin on Friday, November 29, 2013 at 10 am until 9 PM. A rosary will be prayed on Friday evening at 6 PM by Deacon David Guillory.

The funeral home will reopen at 8 AM Saturday until service time. Quirk & Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
