I grew up with Grandma Mable's grandson Ryan. She always treated me as family. For a while there in my early teen years we spent a lot of time at her house. She spoiled us boys and gave us our well deserved punishments. I loved it & loved her. She was like a grandmother to me. Heaven has received a strong, kind, loving soul. I love you Grandma Mable!
Francis and Vernon, we are thinking of you from N Carolina. Remembering your mom and her wonderful personality and spunk and courage.
There is no way I can express what Ms.Mabels friendship meant to Me. When I moved to Eunice I found a very special friend and awesome bridge player. I will always cherish our shopping trips to Lafayette and lunch. We rarely missed playing bridge every Friday. She will be missed by everyone. GOD has a new angel in heaven.
Sorry for your loss. Our prayers are with each of you.
Dear Francis and Kay, so very sorry to hear of the home going of Francis' mom, Mabel. Even when our loved ones are ill, we do not want to give them up to heaven. In lieu of flowers, we will send a donation to the youth program at First Baptist Church in Eunice, LA.
