Lucille Maria Smith Shamburger passed away on Thursday, August 7, 2025 at the age of 66. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, August 13, 2025 at St. Thomas More with Father Sam Fontana Celebrant. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. At the request of family, visitation will be held at Quirk & Son on Tuesday, August 12, 2025 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM, with a Rosary at 6:00 PM by Deacon Gary Gaudin. Visitation will resume at 8:00 AM on Wednesday until time of departure for Services. Lucille was a loving mother, and cherished Nana. She will be remembered for her immense love of her family, the strength with which she cared for everyone, and her faith in God. Lucille's memory will live on in the hearts of those she loved and those who loved her. Lucille is survived by her husband, Mark Shamburger; her four beloved children, daughters, Danielle Matherne (husband Todd), April Aymond (husband Chris), Aimee Thibodeaux (husband David), and one son, Joey Shamburger; and her six precious grandchildren Chelsea, Logan, Monty, Peyton, Lylah, and Brooklyn who brought immense joy to her life; Her brothers Winston Smith (Kathy) and Herman Smith (Susan). She is preceded in death by her mother and father, Hilman and Maria Smith and her brother, Austin Smith.
