Lubert Doucet passed away on Monday, August 22, 2022 at the age of 74. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, August 25, 2022 at St. Thomas More Catholic Church with Father Sam Fontana Celebrant. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. At the request of family, visitation will be held at Quirk & Son from 1:00 PM until 10:00 PM on Wednesday, August 24, 2022 with a Rosary at 6:00 PM. Visitation will resume at 8:00 AM on Thursday until time of Services. Lubert is survived by his wife, Diann Benoit Doucet; two sons, Scotty Doucet and wife Aimee, Kevin "Black" Doucet and wife Jennifer; one daughter, Jessica Jurls and husband Chuck; one brother, Dale Doucet; one sister, Irene Thibodeaux; nine grandchildren, Colin Doucet, Paiton Doucet, Tyler Jurls, Jacob Jurls, Blaise Jurls, Alexis Williams, Zachary Doucet, Caitlin Doucet, Courtney Doucet; seven great-grandchildren, Nathan, Guage, Tantlee, Blayzlie, Avery, Ansley and Ellie. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Tessie Ann Doucet; his parents, Paul and Mary Hebert Doucet; two brothers, Morris Doucet, Jimmie Doucet; two sisters, Sybil Smith and Betty Castille.
