A funeral mass for Louis "Peanut" Savoy", age 75, will be held on Tuesday, March 24, at 11 AM at St. Thomas More Catholic Church with burial to follow at Savoy Cemetery. Fr. Cedric Sonnier, Pastor, St. Thomas More Catholic Church will officiated. A rosary will be prayed at 6:30 Monday evening. Peanut passed away at Acadian Medical Center on Sunday, March 22. He is survived by his wife, Elvine B. Savoy; two daughters, Bonita Guillory & her husband John; Jackie Duos & her husband, Eric; two sons, Carol Savoy & Roger Savoy & his wife, Paula; one brother, Lester J. Savoy; 6 grandchilren; 2 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother & father, Jules & Narcilla Fuselier Savoy; two brothers, JC & AB Savoy; a sister, Lillie Mae Naquin.
