Louis "LC" Melancon, Jr. passed away on Sunday, April 4, 2021 at the age of 87. A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, April 9, 2021 at Quirk & Son Funeral Home of Eunice. Inurnment will follow in St. Paul Mausoleum. A Celebration of Life will be held from 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM on Friday, April 9, 2021 at Quirk & Son. "LC" is survived by his wife, Barbara Watson Melancon; two daughters, Karen Butler and husband Brandon, Celeste Vidrine and husband Brent; five grandchildren, Lacey Langley and husband Alvin, Allison Citron and husband Seth, Nicholas Burge, Bryson Vidrine, Jack Vidrine; four great-grandchildren, Ava, Tehya, Harrison, Ellis; two great-great grandchildren, Vivian, Ruthie. He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis C. Melancon, Sr. and Essie Mae Fontenot Melancon; one daughter, Katherine Coker; one brother, Burkin Melancon; three sisters, Betty Simar, Marylin Henry, Leda Bess Cuccio. The family would like to extend special heartfelt gratitude to neighbors Kim and Kevin O'Brien for all the years of special attention to LC.
