Loretta Deshotel West passed away on Monday, November 21, 2022 at the age of 82. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, November 23, 2022 at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church in Chataignier with Father Darren Elridge Celebrant. Burial will follow in West Family Cemetery. At the request of family, visitation will be held at Quirk & Son Funeral Home from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 with a Rosary at 6:00 PM by Deacon Chuck Ortego. Visitation will resume at 8:00 AM on Wednesday until time of Services. Loretta is survived by two sons, Craig West and wife Cathy, Troy West and wife Molly; six grandchildren, Lucas West and wife Kacie, Ashley West, Amy West, Harry West, Bo West and wife Michelle, Christina Lavergne and husband Jacob; five great-grandchildren, Austin West, Andrew West, Riley Lavergne, Wesley Lavergne and Henry Lavergne. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Lee West; her parents, Onezime and Donace Fuselier Deshotel; one brother, Blaine Aucoin.
