Loretta Romain Cormier passed away on Saturday, September 4, 2021 at the age of 72. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at 10:00 AM at Quirk & Son Funeral Home of Eunice with Deacon Gary Gaudin officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. At the request of family, visitation will be held from 1:00 PM until 10:00 PM on Monday, September 6, 2021 with a Rosary at 6:30 by Deacon Gary Gaudin. Visitation will resume on Tuesday at 8:00 AM until time of Services. Loretta is survived by her husband, John Cormier; one son, Steven Joseph Cormier and wife Becky; five daughters, Julia Reed and husband, Alvin, Sharon Lasseigne and husband Chris, Carmon Reynolds and husband Chris, Kelly Broussard and husband Richard, Kimberly Smith; two sisters, Wilma Jean Bowers and husband, Fuzzy, Patricia Paul; sixteen grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clifton J. Romain, Sr. and Ella Mae Lavergne Romain; one daughter, Kelly Cormier; one brother, Clifton J. Romain, Jr. Pall-bearers will be Evan Reed, Deacon Richard, Harold Johnson, Dustin Reed, Dexter Reed and Nick Fruge. Honorary pall-bearers are Steven Cormier, Alvin Reed, Chris Reynolds, Chris Lasseigen, Bishop Richard and Matthew John LaFleur.
