Loretta Fontenot Andrus passed away on Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at the age of 77. A Memorial Mass will be held on Thursday, December 17, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Our Lady Queen of All Saints Catholic Church in Ville Platte with Father Pettit celebrant. Inurnment will follow in MB Fontenot Cemetery in Ville Platte. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until 10:30 AM at the church, with a Rosary at 10:30 AM. Loretta is survived by her companion, Gurvis Soileau; one son, Thomas McDaniel and wife Jessica; one daughter, Hope Dupuis and husband Eric; one brother, Clifford Fontenot; one sister, Luna Bell Normand; five grandchildren, Alex Mire and husband Joel, Zachary Fuselier and wife Maggie, Abby Melancon and husband Brandon, Katie Berzas and husband John Patrick, Olivia McDaniel; nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Maxille and Hazel Deville Fontenot; one son, Anthony McDaniel; three brothers, Edison Fontenot, Aaron Fontenot, Harrison Fontenot; two sisters, Grace Deville, Jeanell Fontenot.
