Lorena M. Soileau passed away on Thursday February 7, 2013 at the age of 97. Funeral Services will be held on Friday February 8, 2013 at 2 PM at Quirk & Son Funeral Home. Deacon Gary Gaudin will officiate. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Lorena is survived by three daughters, Geraldine Godeaux of Eunice; Shirley Conner and companion Robert Richard of Eunice; Juanita Davy of Eunice; one sister, Dot Vidrine of Durald; eleven grandchildren, twenty-seven great grandchildren, and several great-great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Olan and Bernadette Godeaux Miller; her husband, Walter Soileau; one son, L.D. Soileau; three brothers, Clarence, Ozeman, and Eldrige Vidrine; and three sisters, Versie Brown, Zula Godeaux, and Mary Fuselier. At the request of the family, visitation will be held on Thursday February 7, 2013 from 1 PM to 10 PM. A Rosary will be prayed by Deacon Gary Gaudin at 6 PM. The funeral home will reopen Friday at 8 AM for visitation until service time. Quirk & Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
