London Michael Trundle

London Michael “Big Tex” Trundle, born on December 18, 1987, passed away unexpectedly on August 11, 2026, leaving behind a life filled with courage, compassion, adventure, and a love for others that will never be forgotten.

London was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force. From 2007 to 2010, he honorably served his country in Afghanistan, where his bravery and dedication earned him both the Purple Heart and Bronze Star. His service was a reflection of the strength and selflessness that he carried throughout his life.

Those who knew London will remember him as a free spirit with a generous heart and an adventurous soul. He loved to travel, meet people, experience new things, and live life on his own terms. But perhaps what made London most special was the way he cared for people who had little to give him in return. He never hesitated to help someone in need. One of the many ways he showed his compassion was by purchasing items in bulk and personally handing them out to people experiencing homelessness. He gave freely and quietly, simply because he believed people deserved to be cared for.

London was also a man of many talents. He had a remarkable gift for glass blowing and could take something as simple as a piece of glass and transform it with his own hands into beautiful jewelry, animals, and even chandeliers. His creativity was another reflection of the unique way he saw the world.

His beloved cat, Harley, was another special part of London's life. Harley came into London’s life in an unexpected way. When his first niece wanted a cat, London bought one for her, only to learn that she would not be allowed to keep it. So, London did what came naturally to him—he opened his heart and his home and kept the cat himself. He named her Harley, a fitting name for a man who loved motorcycles and the freedom of the open road. Now, in a beautiful continuation of that story, London’s niece will care for Harley, giving her a special piece of her uncle to love and remember.

London’s faith was an important part of his life. He was a devout Catholic, and his faith will continue to be a source of comfort to those who loved him. He was also a proud member of the Cherokee Tribe of Northeastern Oklahoma, carrying with him a heritage that was an important part of who he was.

Even in death, London continued to give to others. He was an organ donor, and his family was given the extraordinary news that his gift would save six lives—all in one day. It is a final testament to the kind of man London was: someone whose life was devoted to giving, and whose final act was to give the greatest gift of all—the gift of life.

As London begins his final journey, may he be remembered not for the suddenness of his passing, but for the extraordinary life he lived—the people he helped, the places he traveled, the beauty he created with his hands, the freedom he cherished, and the love he so freely gave.

Those left behind to cherish London’s memory are his father, Don Trundle and his wife, Tammy, of Boyd, TX; his siblings, Logan Trundle of Richland Hills, TX, Stormy Boyd and her wife, Chelsea, of Springtown, TX, and Kegan Trundle of Boyd, TX; along with several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, many cousins, and a host of friends who were blessed to know him.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Deborah Godeaux; and his grandparents, Donald Trundle and Betty Fisher and Antione and Rose Godeaux.

Funeral services to honor and remember London’s extraordinary life will be held on Wednesday, August 19, 2026. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:00 AM at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel in Chataignier. Father Michael Champagne will officiate. Interment will follow at Brown-Parker Cemetery in Swords, LA.

May London rest peacefully in the arms of God, knowing that his life mattered, his kindness made a difference, and his final gift gave six others the chance to live. His journey continues in every life he touched.
