Lois Barbo Vige passed away on Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at the age of 90. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, August 27, 2021 at Quirk & Son Funeral Home of Eunice with Reverend Brent Shoalmire officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. At the request of family, visitation will be held from 8:00 AM until time of Services on Friday. Lois is survived by five sons, Scott Vige and wife Rita, Shirley Vige, Jr. and wife Vicki, Paul Vige and wife Jessica, Bernard Vige, Eric Vige and wife Lisa; two daughters, Pam Guillory and husband Wallance, Jenny Manuel and husband Peter; nineteen grandchildren; twenty-six great-grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Shirley Vige, Sr.; her parents, Joseph Alex Barbo and Zelia Lavispere Barbo; five brothers, Michael Cedric Barbo, Bernard Barbo, Alex Barbo, Jr., Eugene Barbo, Howard Barbo; four sisters, Ida Mae White, Anna Lee Reed, Zettie Dugas, Verna McGee; two grandchildren, Jacob Vige, Linsey Carrier; one great-grandchild, Chloe Carrier.
