Lois Chord Holford passed away on Thursday, May 8, 2014 at the age of 75. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, May 10, 2014 at 10 a.m. at First United Pentecostal Church of Eunice. Pastor Ron LaCombe will officiate. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Eunice. Lois is survived by two sons, John R. Holford, Jr. of Eunice and John R. Holford, III of Pineville; one daughter, Christine Gotreaux of Eunice; three brothers, John David Chord, Jim Chord, and Jack Chord; one sister, Mary Ann Porter, and four grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Lois was preceded in death by her husband, John R. Holford, Sr., her parents, William and Sophina Chord; one son, Douglas R. Holford; and two brothers, Bobby Chord and Billy Chord. At the request of the family, visitation will be held on Friday, May 9, 2014 at 10 a.m. at Quirk & Son Funeral Home. The funeral home will reopen at 8 a.m. Saturday for visitation until time of service. Quirk & Son Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
