Lionel John Manuel passed away on Thursday, June 13, 2019 at the age of 85. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, June 17, 2019 at 10:00 AM at Quirk and Son Funeral Home. Deacon Charles Ortego will officiate. Burial will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Chataignier. At the request of family, visitation will be held on Sunday, June 16, 2019 from 12:00 PM until 9:00 PM with a Rosary being recited at 6:00 PM by Deacon Chuck Ortego. Visitation will resume on Monday, June 17, 2019 at 8:00 AM until time of Service. Lionel is survived by his wife, Junette Hebert Manuel; one daughter, Charlene Richard; five grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Cammey Vige Manuel; one son, Terry Manuel; one daughter, Angela Faye Gotreaux; one sister, Barbara LeBlanc.
