Linus Cormier passed away on Friday, September 30, 2022 at the age of 83. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, October 6, 2022 at St. Thomas More Catholic Church of Eunice with Father Sam Fontana, Father Cedric Sonnier and Father Clinton Sensat officiating. Burial will follow in St. Thomas More Cemetery. At the request of family, visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 5, 2022 from 10:30 AM until 10:00 PM at Quirk & Son Funeral Home with a Rosary at 6:00 PM by David Guillory. Visitation will resume at 8:00 AM on Thursday until time of Services. Linus is survived by his wife, Gerri LeJeune Cormier; one son, Kevin Cormier; two daughters, Missy Hurt and husband Gregory, Kim Davis; one brother, Henry Lee Cormier; three sisters, Lima Jane Kibodeaux, Joann Hebert, Brenda Smith; thirteen grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Carla Todor; his parents, Lester and Annabelle Matt Cormier.
