Linton "Sonny" Joseph Rougeau, Jr. passed away on Wednesday, December 7, 2022 at the age of 80. A Funeral Service will be held at Quirk & Son Funeral Home Chapel at 11:30 AM on Friday, December 9, 2022 with Deacon Chuck Ortego officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. At the request of family, visitation will be held from 2:00 PM until 10:00 PM on Thursday, December 8, 2022 with a Rosary at 7:00 PM by Deacon Chuck Ortego. Visitation will resume at 8:00 AM on Friday until time of Services. "Sonny" is survived by his companion, Jenny Kessner; three sons, Randy Rougeau and wife Renea, Tony Rougeau and wife Liz, Albert Rougeau and wife Cecile; four daughters, Jennifer Rougeau and husband Dr. Kerry Thibodeaux, Lena Rodgers and husband Jimmy, Christena Thibodeaux, Amanda Johnson and husband Jules; two brothers, Michael Rougeau and wife Kathy, Ronald Rougeau; three sisters, Delores Frey, Judy Young and husband Clarence, Pam Bollich and husband Mark; nineteen grandchildren and twenty-eight great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Linton J. Rougeau, Sr. and Leona Janise Rougeau and one daughter, Lisa Rougeau.
