Linda Gail Thibodeaux Dietz passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, September 19, 2026, at the age of 74. She was born on May 7, 1952, in Eunice, La, to Adam Thibodeaux and Ida Thibodeaux Thibodeaux.

Linda devoted her life to caring for her family as a homemaker. Her greatest joy came from spending time with those she loved, especially playing with her great-grandchildren and watching them play. She also enjoyed shopping, crocheting blankets, and caring for her plants. Her loving heart and the many beautiful memories she created will be cherished by her family for years to come.

Those left to treasure Linda’s memory include her four daughters, Cynthia Johnson and her husband, Royce, Jessica Venable and her husband, Marcus, Georgette Dietz, and Crystal Dietz; her brother, Donald R. Thibodeaux; her sister, Ella Harrell; five grandchildren, Jesalyn Foreman, Brittany Ashworth, Briana Dietz, Ashley Dietz, and Matthew Boone; and twenty-five great-grandchildren.

She was welcomed into eternal rest by her beloved husband, George Dietz, who passed away in 2014. She is now lovingly reunited with him, along with her parents, Adam Thibodeaux and Ida Thibodeaux Thibodeaux; her brother, Allen Thibodeaux; and her sisters, Delores LeJeune, Sherry Fontenot, Ramona “Sue” Kibodeaux, and Rita Manuel.

Linda will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. May her memory live on through the love she shared and the treasured moments held forever in the hearts of her family.
