Levans "Black" J. Guidry passed away on Monday, May 12, 2025 at the age of 76. A Funeral Service will be held at 9:30 AM on Tuesday, May 13, 2025 at Quirk & Son Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Greg Gaspard officiating. Burial will follow in St. Louis Cemetery. At the request of family, visitation will be held at Quirk & Son on Monday, May 12, 2025 from 2:30 PM until 10:00 PM and will resume at 8:00 AM on Tuesday until time of Services. "Black" is survived by two sons, Benny Guidry, Michael Guidry; two brothers, Larry Guidry, Alfred Guidry (Clara); one sister, Lorraine Bertrand; seventeen grandchildren, Josh, Taylor, Tyler, Kalob, Trever, Mallori, Ryan, Ricky, Halley, Donovan, Kenadi, Serenity, Collin, Isabella, Darian, Gage, Dustin and thirty-two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Pamela Sue Kibodeaux Guidry; one son, Brandon Guidry; one daughter, Heather Fontenot; his parents, Noel and Cecil Miller Guidry; three brothers, Felton Guidry, Albert Guidry, Cleveland Guidry; three sisters, Jeanette Higginbotham, Bernice Arnaud and Judy Guidry.
