Lester Reed, age 87, passed away on Friday, January 16, 2015, at the age of 87.

A memorial mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, January 20, 2015, at 10:30 AM. The celebrant is Msg. Robert Romero.

Lester is survived by his wife, Della Guillory Reed of Eunice; daughter, Beth R. Langley and her husband Jerome of Eunice; one son, James "Kurt" Reed of Baton Rouge; five grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.

Lester was preceded in death by his parents, Oliver and Delphine Lange Reed; two brothers, Harold and Wilbur Reed; four sisters, Muriel Blankenship, Cryil Fontenot, Wilda McBride, and Mildred Fruge; and one daughter-in-law, Patti Reed;

At the request of the family visitation will be held on Monday, January 19, 2015, at Quirk & Son Funeral Home from 4 PM to 8 PM. A Rosary will be prayed Monday evening at 6 PM by Deacon Gary Gaudin.
