LeRoy Boone, Sr. passed away on Sunday, April 4, 2021 at the age of 86. A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, April 7, 2021 at Quirk & Son Funeral Home with David Plunkett & Gregg Gaspard officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be held on from 9:00 AM until time of Services on Wednesday, April 7, 2021 at Quirk & Son. LeRoy is survived by three sons, LeRoy Boone, Jr. and wife Sherry, Merlin Boone and wife Debbie, Shane Boone and wife Shelly; one daughter, Berna Dean Bexley and husband Dale; one brother, Stafford Boone; four sisters, Elta Matte, Doris Olivier, Bertha Matte, Berlaine Sonnier; sixteen grandchildren; thirty-six great-grandchildren; one great-great granddaughter.. He was preceded in death by his wife, Alma Jean LeJeune Boone; parents, Felix and Violet Godeaux Boone; one son, Darrell Boone; one daughter, Robin Lee Boone; two brothers, Thomas Boone, Etienne "Steve" Boone, Sr.; two sisters, Florence Gaspard, Elaine Fortson.; one grandchild, Bradford Manuel, II.
