Leroy Gaspard, 78 of Eunice, Louisiana born Thursday, Novermber 10, 1932 in Eunice, died after a long illness on Friday, December 24, 2010, at Eunice Manor in Eunice, Louisiana. He is survived by his God Mother, Lydia Babineaux of Richard, LA., one brother, Frank Gaspard & (Bonnie) of Sulphur, LA, one sister, Ollie G. Fontenot & (Rayford) of Duralde, LA. Also a host of nieces and nephews. Pall Bearers include Jason Fontenot, Joe Vidrine, Brent Vidrine, Timothy Gaspard, Troy Gaspard, and Russell Gaspard. He is preceded in death by his parents, Walter "Noc Gas" Gaspard and Blanche Whittaker Gaspard; three brothers, Normand, Henry, and John Gaspard; two sisters, Nolia DeBoard and Lessie Gaspard.

A Funeral service officiated by Deacon David Guillory will be at 2:00 PM on Tuesday at Quirk & Son Funeral Home in Eunice. Burial to follow in Courville Cemetery, Eunice, LA. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 10:00 PM on Monday, December 27, 2010, at Quirk & Son Funeral Home with a rosary @ 7:00 PM. The funeral home will reopen at 8:00 AM Tuesday for a visitation until the service at 2:00 PM. Quirk & Son Funeral Home, 121 S. 6th. Street of Eunice is in charge of arrangements.
