Leota Lantier was born on November 14, 1927 and passed away on November 14, 2012 at the age of 85. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday November 16, 2012 at St. Thomas More Catholic Church at 1 PM. Father Cedric Sonnier will officiate. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Leota is survived by her husband, Elridge Lantier; one son, John Al Lantier of San Antonio, TX; two daughters, Jacqueline Young of Eunice, LA; Connie Hays of Solana Beach, CA; one brother, John B. LeJeune of Eunice, LA; four grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Adolph and Odile Matt LeJeune; four sisters, Hazel Perkins, Rose Hartner, Ella Sattler, and Sadie Marcantel; three brothers, Thomas LeJeune, Leonce LeJeune, and Joseph LeJeune. At the request of the family, visitation will be held on Thursday November 15, 2012 from 12 PM until 9 PM. A Rosary will be prayed by Deacon David Guillory at 6 PM Thursday evening. The Funeral Home will reopen at 8 AM Friday November 16, 2012 until service time. Quirk & Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
